Why I am writing this blog

As a professional writer, I research many topics so that I can write about them accurately. As an animal lover, I read a great deal about all kinds of animals just because I enjoy learning about them. My interest in wolves has led to the publication of my first children’s book: One Wolf Howls (Sylvan Dell Publishing / 2009). My second picture book — Big Cat, Little Kitty — will be published by Sylvan Dell in 2011.

The purpose of this blog is to share my ongoing learning experience concerning animals of all kinds -- especially wolves and big cats -- and to learn from others who may stop by to comment.
